The last fifth outfit for the Striped Dress Challenge is here. Finally! I added a peplum belt to the dress to make the challenge more interesting! I am not very good at sewing yet, so the belt is not made perfectly. 🙂 I will post however, a picture of how I made it.

A peplum belt enhanced the outfit making it elegant and playful. It also, just like any other peplum piece, gave the body a flattering curve. This belt could be used with pencil skirts, tops, and other slim dresses. Peplum piece by itself is a focal point of the outfit. Therefore, the main trick to remember when wearing it is that the rest of the pieces in the outfit should be simple and well fitting. Otherwise the outfit may look too bulky and bubbly.
